Vision and Mission
Burma Christian Mission was founded to help the nation of Burma with its physical and spiritual needs.
Child Development & Housing Programs
The needs of the children of Burma are great. Due to military rule in Burma, education and child development programs have been neglected. As a result, thousands of children are being deprived of proper education, nutrition and health benefits. Many children suffer from illness and early death due to malnutrition. The poor economy has forced parents to send their children away to monasteries to serve as Buddhist monks.
Thousands of children can be saved from this plight of a life of hopelessness, if we can provide an alternative to them. Currently, Burma Christian Mission is renting one facility in Kalemyo, Myanmar (Burma) to provide housing for 14 orphans.
Our vision is to reach 10,000 kids by 2027. We want to provide more children with a home: a place they can receive a good education, meals three time a day, and a place where they can learn about Christ. Proverbs 22:6 states, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it." With your support, we can help bring hope to the children of Burma.

Empowering Burmese Leaders
In 1966, the government of Burma (Myanmar) expelled all missionaries from the land. Since that time, the Burmese government has not allowed foreigners to live as missionaries in Burma (Myanmar). In order to reach Burma, it has to be done through local Burmese leaders. This is a more effective means of reaching this nation because locals have no problems with language and culture. They are better able to communicate and have relationships with their own people. They are allowed to stay in their own country.

Our ministry will be hosting leadership conferences from time to time to encourage these local leaders. To support our next leadership conference click here.
We believe in 30 years from now Burma will be known as the land of the Cross of Jesus Christ, not the land of Pagodas.
